Bullfrog Puzzle Dash: A Free Team Puzzle Race in Valrico

Got a friend who always finds the edge pieces? Put them on your team.

Bullfrog Puzzle Dash is Saturday, November 21, 2026, at 4 PM at Bullfrog Creek Brewing in Valrico. Bring a team of two to four people for a 60-minute jigsaw puzzle race. We supply the puzzles.

It’s free to play or watch, with no purchase required. Food and drinks are sold separately.

If you’re looking for something to do with family or friends around Valrico, Brandon, or FishHawk, here’s how to get your crew ready.

Pick the right division

There are two divisions, and each has its own winner.

Family Division: 100 pieces. Your team must include at least one child age 12 or under and one supervising adult age 18 or older.

Open Division: 300 pieces. This is the bigger puzzle for families and friends who want more of a challenge. Children must have an accompanying adult.

Both divisions use the same team size: two to four players, including your captain. You don’t need to find four people to enter. A team of two works too.

Choose the division that fits the people coming with you. If you’re bringing a child, talk about which puzzle they would enjoy helping build before you register.

One captain, one signup

Get your team together before filling out the Puzzle Dash registration form.

You’ll need:

• Your team name.
• Your division.
• Your total number of players, including the captain.
• The captain’s full name and email address.
• A phone number, if you’d like to provide one. That field is optional.

The captain submits one registration for the whole team. Everyone else can concentrate on agreeing on a name.

A little teamwork helps

You can keep the strategy simple. Before the race, agree on a starting plan so everyone has something to do.

One person might look for edge pieces while someone else sorts colors or patterns. If a teammate is building a particular section, pass useful pieces their way instead of starting the same section yourself.

With kids on the team, leave room for them to find and fit pieces too. A smaller patch of one color can be a useful job. Let them show you what they see.

Those are ideas, not extra event rules. Listen to the instructions on the day, and ask the host if anything is unclear.

Make room for food, if you want it

You can come just for the puzzle. There’s no food or drink purchase required to participate.

If your crew wants to eat, look through our food menu before you head over. It includes smash burgers, smoked wings, paninis, salads, and a kids menu. Leave yourself time for a meal rather than trying to fit it into the race.
