This is not a race team. It is a group of people from Valrico, Brandon, FishHawk, Lithia and Bloomingdale who run out and back from the taproom on a Wednesday and then sit down together.
Runners, joggers, walkers, stroller pushers, dog walkers. Go as far as you want and turn around when you are ready. The group sorts itself into paces and everybody finishes back at the bar.
If you have been meaning to start running again, this is the easiest possible on-ramp. Free, no commitment, and there is a cold pint at the end of it.

When is run club?
Every Wednesday. Check in from 5:30 PM, the group steps off at 6:30, and most people hang around the taproom until about 8. Show up whenever works for you.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Run club is free and so is the app. You only pay for what you drink and eat, and your points knock down the beer side of that.
How fast do I have to be?
There is no pace requirement. Runners, joggers, walkers, stroller pushers. All paces welcome and nobody gets left behind. If you want to turn around early, turn around early. Nobody is counting.
How far is the run?
Out and back from the taproom door. Go as far as you want and turn around when you are ready. The group sorts itself into paces and everybody finishes back at the bar.
Do I need the app to join?
No, you can just show up and run. But the app is how your runs get counted toward free beer and gear, so it is worth the minute it takes. Get the app here.
How do I check in?
Scan the QR code at the run club table when you get back. That logs your run and posts your points automatically. Nothing to remember, nothing to hand in.
What do I get for showing up?
Free beer every 8 runs, a Run Club shirt at 15 runs, and a sweatshirt at 40. Points also come from miles and from keeping a streak going, so consistency pays.
Can I bring my dog or my kids?
Yes. The patio is dog friendly and the taproom is family friendly. Plenty of people run with a dog or push a stroller.
Is the kitchen open after the run?
Yes. Full kitchen is running. Burgers, smoked wings, paninis, loaded fries. See the food menu.

What if I miss a week?
Nothing happens to your total. Your runs stay banked in the app. Streak points reset, but everything you have already earned is still yours.
