Why We Built This

Veteran-Owned, Plain and Simple

Bullfrog Creek Brewing is veteran-owned. Jamie Ratcliff served, and a number of the founding crew came up through the military. We've been on the customer side of vet discounts at other places, and we know which ones feel real and which ones feel like a press release.

Bullfrog Salutes is real. 15% off every single visit. A free pint every month. No exclusions on which days, no minimum spend, no "only on Tuesdays before 5." If you served, the discount runs all the time, and the door's always open.

We say thanks the way we'd want to be thanked. Show up, have a beer, eat some food, get your discount, no questions asked. Simple as that.

Bullfrog Salutes FAQ

Who qualifies for the Bullfrog Salutes discount? +
All veterans, active duty military, reservists, National Guard, and military retirees. Bring valid proof and we'll set you up. Veteran-owned brewery honoring the people who served — same rules our owners would want at any other vet-friendly business.
What documents do I need to show? +
Any one of the following at the bar to activate your card: a current military ID, a VA card, or a DD-214. You only show it once — at activation. Every visit after that, you just show your wallet card.
Is the Bullfrog Salutes card free? +
Completely free. No subscription, no membership fee, no card-on-file. Sign up, add it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, show ID at the bar to activate, and you're in.
How does the discount work? +
15% off every visit, applied to your tab at the register when your beertender scans your card. Includes food, beer, merch — basically everything you'd buy at full price. Plus one free pint per calendar month (any house draft we have on tap, doesn't roll over). And a separate free pint on your service branch's birthday AND on Veterans Day every year.
What's the branch birthday benefit? +
On your service branch's official birthday — and on Veterans Day (November 11) — Bullfrog Salutes members get a free house pint, on top of your regular monthly free pint. Branch dates: Army October 14, Navy October 13, Marines November 10, Air Force September 18, Coast Guard August 4, Space Force December 20. Just walk in that day, show your wallet card at the bar, and your beertender comps the pour. No coupon, no advance notice needed — we know the dates.
Does the discount stack with happy hour or lunch specials? +
No — Bullfrog Salutes doesn't combine with other discounts. If you're ordering during happy hour or off the $7.99 weekday lunch menu, those prices apply. Outside those windows (or on items not covered by those promos), your 15% kicks in. Pick whichever gives you the better deal that visit. The free monthly pint is separate from all of this — that's an additional pour we comp once per month no matter what.
Do I need to download an app? +
No. The card lives directly in your phone's built-in wallet — Apple Wallet on iPhone or Google Wallet on Android. Nothing to install, nothing to update. Tap, sign up, add to wallet, show your ID once, done.
What about military spouses and dependents? +
Right now Bullfrog Salutes is for the service member directly. Spouses and dependents are welcome to come in with you anytime — and as the cardholder, your 15% applies to the whole tab when you're together.
Can I use my card for takeout or online orders? +
The card works at the bar. For takeout and online orders through Toast, mention your status when you pay or ask your beertender to apply it manually. Easiest path: order at the bar, scan in, done.
Do I have to show ID every time? +
No. ID activation is one-and-done. After you're verified, just open your wallet, show the card, and your beertender scans it. Same flow every visit.
Why does Bullfrog Creek do this? +
We're veteran-owned. Jamie Ratcliff served, and our founding crew has multiple vets in it. This program isn't a marketing gimmick — it's how we say thanks the same way other vet-friendly businesses have done for us. If you served, the door's open.
Where do I sign up? +
