Where to Watch the 2026 World Cup Near Valrico and Brandon

The World Cup kicks off June 11. Forty-eight teams, 104 matches, and it’s being played right here in the US, Canada, and Mexico for the first time in over 30 years. That means kickoff times that actually work for people in Florida, not 4 AM matches you have to set an alarm for.

So the only real question is where you’re going to watch.

The problem with watching at home

You can watch on your couch. Plenty of people will. But a World Cup match alone in your living room hits different than a room full of people who actually care.

And if you head into Tampa to find a crowd, you’re looking at a 40 minute drive, paid parking, and a bar that’s three deep before the first whistle. For a group stage match on a Tuesday afternoon, that’s a lot of effort.

You live in Valrico, Brandon, FishHawk, Lithia, Riverview, or Bloomingdale. You shouldn’t have to leave the area to watch the biggest tournament on the planet.

What we’re doing at Bullfrog

We’re showing every match that kicks off at 9 PM ET or earlier on our TVs. Given the host time zones this year, that covers basically everything you’d actually want to watch. Group stage afternoon games, the big evening matches, knockout rounds, all of it.

No cover. No reservation required to grab a seat and watch, though if you’re rolling in with a group for a marquee match, booking a table is the smart move. Walk-ins are always welcome, but the good spots go fast when there’s a big game on.

We open at 11:30 AM Monday through Sunday, so even the early kickoffs are covered. Kitchen’s running the whole time too, which matters more than people think when you’re settling in for a 90 minute match plus stoppage.

Food and beer that actually fits a match

A World Cup match is a commitment. You want food you can eat with one eye on the screen and beer that holds up over a couple hours.

The smash burgers are the move. So are the wings, which we smoke on the Big Green Egg, and the loaded fries if you’re sharing with a table. Bring the kids, they’ve got their own menu and the patio is dog friendly if you want to bring the whole crew.

On the beer side, our Hunting River Kolsch is the easy answer for a long afternoon. It’s crushable, it won bronze at GABF in 2022, and it won’t wear you out by the second half. If you want more hop, the Propeller Wash Hazy IPA does the job. King of Frogs is there if you just want a clean light lager while the match runs long.
